No ethanol in the formulas
Aloe, glycerin and plant oils carry the hydration, not a carrier that flashes off. Skin does not feel tight afterwards.

No pork-derived ingredients
No pork collagen or gelatin, no rendered animal fat. Plant oils and butters do the conditioning: argan from Souss-Massa, shea butter, sweet almond oil and prickly pear seed oil.

Glucosides and betaine do the cleansing
AMAAN foam cleanses with coco-glucoside and cocamidopropyl betaine. IHLA shampoo adds sodium lauroyl sarcosinate and lauryl glucoside on top of those two. The pH of both formulas is 5.0 to 5.5.

Our argan comes from the Souss-Massa region in southwestern Morocco. The kernels are hand-picked and the oil is made by traditional cold pressing.
