AZOURANE is a complete Moroccan routine for hair, body and face. Every ingredient is declared, the argan comes from cooperatives in the Souss-Massa region, and there is a shop in Sarajevo where you can ask about any of it.

What you can check: every ingredient declared, old Moroccan recipes kept, and an open invitation to verify any of it yourself. The skincare our family uses is the skincare we sell.

No ethanol in the formulas
Aloe, glycerin and plant oils carry the hydration, not a carrier that flashes off. Skin does not feel tight afterwards.

No pork-derived ingredients
No pork collagen or gelatin, no rendered animal fat. Plant oils and butters do the conditioning: argan from Souss-Massa, shea butter, sweet almond oil and prickly pear seed oil. Beeswax in the AZGGAGH balm and hydrolyzed marine collagen in the ANNAY serum are not plant-derived. Both are declared on the label.

Glucosides and betaine do the cleansing
AMAAN foam cleanses with coco-glucoside and cocamidopropyl betaine. IHLA shampoo adds sodium lauroyl sarcosinate and lauryl glucoside on top of those two. The pH of both formulas is 5.0 to 5.5.

Are AZOURANE products halal-certified?
AZOURANE products currently have no halal certification. The formulas contain no ethanol and no pork-derived ingredients, and the full INCI list sits on every product page.
Can I use AZOURANE during Ramadan?
Yes. Our products are made exclusively for topical use. Hydrating the face and hands during the fasting day does not affect the validity of the fast according to most scholars. If you have a specific question, please consult your imam.
Where do the ingredients come from?
The argan, prickly pear and shea come from cooperatives in the Souss-Massa region of Morocco. For detail on any single ingredient, write to us at hussam@weareazourane.com.
Can I use AZOURANE under hijab?
AMAAN is a light foam that rinses clean, and a few drops of argan oil sink in quickly. Cotton and silk hijabs sit comfortably over both.
