What does ALJIG do in the shower?
A dense orange blossom lather
Glycerin sits fourth on the ingredient list and does the work you feel afterwards: it draws moisture in and holds it in the skin, so you step out of the shower soft rather than tight. The surfactants build the dense lather that lifts sweat and oil off the body, and Moroccan argan oil stays behind as a conditioning trace. The orange blossom stays on your skin and in the bathroom after the water is off.

- Aqua
- The water base. Every other ingredient dissolves into it and spreads evenly.
- Sodium Laureth Sulfate
- The main surfactant. It builds the dense lather and lifts sweat, oil and the day off the skin.
- Cocamidopropyl Betaine
- A co-surfactant. It boosts the lather and gives it its creamy body.
- Glycerin
- A humectant. It binds water and holds it at the surface, so what it touches stays soft instead of dry.
- Coco-Glucoside
- A cleansing and foaming surfactant. It lifts away oil and dirt and builds the lather.
- Sodium Chloride
- Salt. It sets the thickness of the gel, so it pours in a controlled stream instead of running off your hand.
- Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil
- Moroccan argan oil. The nourishing plant oil that conditions and softens skin.
- Fragrance
- The scent. It carries the orange blossom that gives this gel its signature.
- Potassium Sorbate
- A preservative. It stops yeast and mold developing in a formula that contains water.
- Sodium Benzoate
- A preservative. It protects the formula from bacteria for as long as the bottle sits in your bathroom.
