What each ingredient does
- Sucrose
- Sugar. The grains that do the scrubbing.
- Coffea Arabica Seed Extract
- Coffee seed extract. It gives the polish its colour and conditions the skin.
- Glyceryl Caprylate/Caprate
- An emollient that also supports the formula, keeping it soft and stable.
- Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Almond) Oil
- Sweet almond oil. A gentle plant emollient that conditions and softens.
- Cetearyl Alcohol
- A plant-derived fatty alcohol. It builds the thickness you feel and holds the formula together.
- Sodium Methyl 2-Sulfolaurate
- A surfactant. It gives the polish its light lather and rinses the oil and grains away.
- Disodium 2-Sulfolaurate
- The second surfactant of the pair. It rounds out the lather and the rinse.
- Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter
- A rich plant butter. It conditions and softens, and it gives the formula its density.
- Argania Spinosa (Argan) Kernel Oil
- Moroccan argan oil. The nourishing plant oil that conditions and softens.
- Tocopherol
- Vitamin E. The antioxidant that keeps the oils from oxidising, so they stay fresh to the end of the pack.
- Fragrance
- The scent. It carries the warm coffee note through the whole scrub.
Product questions
- Does skin feel oily after the polish?
- Pleasantly so. The oil absorbs well and is no bother, and skin stays soft to the touch for up to three days.
- How do I use the TAFUKT polish?
- In the shower, take a little polish and massage it into wet skin on the body with small circular movements. The sugar melts as you massage, so it starts grainy and finishes soft. Rinse with lukewarm water.
- How often should I use TAFUKT?
- Once or twice a week. A little is enough, so the 200 g jar lasts a long time.
- Can I use TAFUKT on my face?
- No. TAFUKT is made for the body: it goes on wet skin on the body.
- Where can I buy a coffee body scrub in Sarajevo?
- You can try and buy TAFUKT coffee body polish (200 g, 40 KM) at our shop in Sarajevo City Center (SCC), Vrbanja 1, third floor. We are open Monday to Saturday, 10:00 to 22:00, and closed on Sundays. Online, we deliver to any address in Bosnia and Herzegovina: delivery usually takes 1 to 2 working days and costs 8 KM, and it is free on orders of 59 KM or more.
