Two steps

Four surfactants
They wash the scalp at pH 5.0 to 5.5, and hair still feels hydrated a day or two later.

A protein that stays
Hydrolysed wheat protein binds to the hair and stays through the rinse, so the lengths comb through more easily.

Argan, avocado, almond and shea
Emollients wrap the hair while Behentrimonium Methosulfate settles static, so the lengths stop lifting and clinging.
How to use
Five minutes in the shower, at most.

Work IHLA through wet hair
Spread it through hair and scalp. Two minutes of gentle massage, then rinse.

LHRIR on the lengths
Apply to the damp lengths and ends. Leave it on for two to three minutes, then rinse.

What each ingredient does
- Aqua
- The water base. Every other ingredient dissolves into it and spreads evenly.
- Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate
- The shampoo's main surfactant. It builds the lather and washes hair and scalp.
- Cocamidopropyl Betaine
- A co-surfactant. It boosts the lather and gives it its creamy body.
- Lauryl Glucoside
- A cleansing surfactant. It works alongside the main one and supports the lather.
- Coco Glucoside
- A cleansing and foaming surfactant. It lifts away oil and dirt and builds the lather.
- Glycerin
- A humectant. It binds water and holds it at the surface, so what it touches stays soft instead of dry.
- Laurdimonium Hydroxypropyl Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein
- Hydrolysed wheat protein. It binds to the hair and leaves it smoother and easier to comb.
- Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract
- Aloe vera. The plant ingredient that conditions skin and scalp and leaves a fresh feel.
- Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride
- A conditioning ingredient from the guar bean. It cuts tangling, so wet hair combs out more easily.
- Glycol Distearate
- Gives the shampoo its pearly look and its full, thick pour.
- Benzyl Alcohol
- A preservative. It keeps the formula sound once it is open and in daily use.
- Dehydroacetic Acid
- The second half of the preservative system. It works alongside benzyl alcohol to protect a water-based formula.
- Sodium Benzoate
- A preservative. It protects the formula from bacteria for as long as the bottle sits in your bathroom.
- Potassium Sorbate
- A preservative. It stops yeast and mould developing in a formula that contains water.
- Citric Acid
- The pH regulator. It sets the formula's acidity.
- Cetearyl Alcohol
- A plant-derived fatty alcohol. It builds the thickness you feel and holds the formula together.
- Behentrimonium Methosulfate
- The conditioning agent. It smooths the hair, cuts static and creates the slip you feel while combing.
- Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter
- A rich plant butter. It conditions and softens, and it gives the formula its density.
- Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil
- A rich plant oil that conditions dry ends and brings their softness back.
- Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Almond) Oil
- Sweet almond oil. A gentle plant emollient that conditions and softens.
- Argania Spinosa (Argan) Kernel Oil
- Moroccan argan oil. The nourishing plant oil that conditions and softens.
- Tocopherol
- Vitamin E. The antioxidant that keeps the oils from oxidising, so they stay fresh to the end of the pack.
