Argan Oil: Composition, Origin and Use
This guide is a map to argan oil: what the label says, where AZOURANE argan comes from, and which guide to open for face or hair.
What is in the bottle
One ingredient: Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil. AZOURANE argan is first press, unrefined and made by traditional cold pressing. The oil is pale gold, nutty in scent and absorbs quickly. A fine natural trace can remain because it is an oil.
Where it comes from
The argan comes from Souss-Massa, the Agadir area of Morocco. The kernels are hand picked, and AZOURANE works directly with the collectives behind that work. Read the full story about the women's collectives of Souss-Massa.
