Conditioner without silicone for dry hair
LHRIR is a creamy conditioner for dry lengths and ends. Argan oil, avocado oil, shea butter and sweet almond oil sit in the formula, and behentrimonium methosulfate conditions the hair, so it feels softer and combs out more easily.
The comb catches on the lengths and the knots will not give. LHRIR, our Moroccan conditioner with argan oil and avocado oil, is built for exactly that: the lengths stay soft and the comb slides through them.
Conditioner for dry hair: what actually does the work
Static is what lifts single strands and tangles the lengths. Behentrimonium methosulfate has hair-conditioning and antistatic functions. That is exactly why it is in the formula: the hair stays settled instead of lifting.
Argan, avocado, almond and shea act as emollients. That is the part of the formula you feel as softness. Glycerin, the second ingredient on the label right after water, has humectant and hair-conditioning functions. Tocopherol is vitamin E, the antioxidant in the formula.
The rest of the list is there for the formula itself. Cetearyl alcohol gives it thickness, while benzyl alcohol and dehydroacetic acid keep it from spoiling. Eleven ingredients, and every one of them has a job.
Natural or not, it is all on the label
The ingredient list is the only place that shows you what you are actually buying. Three things worth checking before you pay:
- Whether the formula has a conditioning ingredient. Oils and butters give softness, but an ingredient with an antistatic function is what makes the hair easier to comb.
- How long the list is. A short list you can read to the end tells you what goes onto your hair.
- Where it was made. The country of manufacture is on the label. For LHRIR that is Morocco.
If you want to go deeper into why a silicone-free conditioner belongs with the right shampoo, here is our guide: sulfate-free shampoo and silicone-free conditioner for dry hair.
LHRIR and its pair: a two-step routine
Shampoo and conditioner go one after the other. If you want the shampoo from the same line, there is IHLA, our sulfate-free shampoo: it washes with four surfactants, and the formula pH is 5.0 to 5.5.
The rhythm is simple: after washing, apply LHRIR to damp hair, leave it two to three minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
LHRIR: a silicone-free conditioner, 250 ml, formula pH 4.0 to 4.5. Available now. We ship from Sarajevo in 1 to 2 working days, payment is cash on delivery, delivered anywhere in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is silicone-free conditioner different from regular?
LHRIR is a silicone-free conditioner. The softness comes from plant oils and shea butter, the combing from behentrimonium methosulfate.
Will LHRIR weigh down my fine hair?
The hair moves naturally and comes back to its shape, and it stays soft to the touch.
Can I use LHRIR every day?
Use it whenever you wash your hair, because LHRIR comes after the shampoo rather than instead of it. Leave it on the same length of time every time, two to three minutes.
How much does LHRIR cost and how do I order?
LHRIR costs 40 KM and is available now. Order through the product page and leave your address. We ship from Sarajevo in 1 to 2 working days, payment is cash on delivery, delivered anywhere in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Do I need a sulfate-free shampoo with LHRIR?
No. LHRIR goes on after washing, whichever shampoo you use. If you do want the pair from the same line, IHLA is our sulfate-free shampoo.
